Description
As modern media revives art and film from pre-civil rights movement America it seems little interested or adept at addressing the brutal horrors of it’s past.
We as Black people seem doomed to exist either in parable about the lesser angels of our nature or vanish entirely. Neither option allowing justice or redress.
The question remains, how do you celebrate beautiful art borne of ugliness? The better question is what is there to celebrate and why do you need to so often?
Maybe no more parties for you until you stop hurting your guests.
